BAC Pipe & Log Grabs are manufactured using the following materials
- Hardox™ – complete fabrication for abrasive / hard wearing environments
- Hardox™ wear parts- where certain elements need to have harder wearing capabilities
- Domex™ – where a lighter, high strength bucket required
- Mild Steel – S355
- Hard Face Welding can be applied to areas subjected to high abrasive wear

Pipe & Log Grab Options
BA Caulkett manufacture a wide range of Pipe and Log Grabs. As with many loading attachments whilst stock variations are available predominantly these are designed and manufactured to a customers specific application and environment.
The site or location, the vehicles being used and the size and variation of pipe diameter, length, weight, material or log size to be lifted are all design factors. Handling plastic or steel pipes requires a different grab and set up to ensure that clamping and safe movement is achieved. Whilst in some industries / applications it doesn’t matter if the item being gripped and moved is marked or scuffed, for others ensuring that the item is secure but scuff free is of upmost importance.
