Included in the Service Contract:
1. Scheduled Site Visits (e.g. every 4 months or as agreed):
- Visual and structural inspection of the bucket frame.
- Check for cracks, fatigue, or deformation on the bucket body and weld seams.
- Inspection of bucket wear areas and cutting edges.
2. Mechanical Integrity Checks:
- Inspection and measurement of pin and bush wear. – record in report
- Check alignment and free movement of the tipping mechanism.
- Inspection of hydraulic rams for leaks or rod damage.
- Examination of ram stops and safety limiters for integrity and function.
- Greasing and lubrication of all moving parts. Check Auto Lube is working correctly
3. Wear Component Assessment:
- Assessment of bolt-on wear edges and heel plates.
- Recommendation for replacements as necessary.
4. On-Site Maintenance Actions:
- Welding repairs to cracks or minor structural issues (where feasible on-site).
- Replacement of worn pins, bushes, wear plates, and edge segments.
- Hydraulic ram replacement where required
- Adjustment of tipping stops and ram stroke limits. ( Build up stops to correct level)
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Service record log maintained for each bucket.
- Full report provided after each visit including findings, work carried out, and future recommendations.
- Photos of any defects or repairs for transparency and record-keeping.
6. Emergency Support and Call-Outs:
- Priority response for contract holders in case of urgent issues. (within 48 hours)
- Option for additional unscheduled visits at discounted contract rates.
7. Spare Parts Management:
- Holding or sourcing of critical spare parts for rapid replacement.
- Optional consignment stock held at customer premises (by agreement).
