After a 4 month build time the new purpose built factory extension has been completed at B. A. Caulkett Ltd. The build provides an additional 430 sqm and is located next to the main cutting and bending facility. With 5 dedicated bays, even the largest loading shovel attachment build can be easily accommodated.
State of the art extraction and lighting
The extension features the latest high output, low energy LED lighting and the modern extraction can easily cope when all bays are welding or fabricating. Wall mounted utilities provide a highly efficient working environment.
Provides Improved Workflow
Having the new unit next to the main production areas has many benefits
- Reduced distance between loading bay doors makes it easier and quicker to move fabrications and components
- The flexible space makes it really easy to cope with very large load shovel attachment builds – especially pushers which are becoming increasing in size
