Can I Customise My Log Grab?
At B. A. Caulkett all of our products, including log grabs are built around the requirements of an individual client.
There are a number of factors that we take into consideration when designing a log grab. These factors include the diameter, length and weight of the pipe or log to be lifted. We also consider the material to be handled, for instance, is it metal, plastic or wood?
Depending on the material being handled, the grab and set up requires adjusting to ensure that clamping and safe movement are achieved. Optimising the set up also helps to ensure that the material being handled is not marked or damaged, which is extremely important in some applications.
Furthermore, we think about the model and make of the vehicle to which the grab will be attached to. This helps to ensure almost universal compatibility: our log grabs are used with a huge range of types and brands of loading shovel.

Where Are B. A. Caulkett Products Made?
As with all of our products, B. A. Caulkett log and pipe grabs are made in the UK. Here, in our purpose built manufacturing facility in Suffolk, in the East of England, we use cutting edge equipment. This includes CNC press brakes, guillotines and plasma cutters. What’s more, all of our engineers are coded to BS4872 and we use only the highest quality materials to ensure the durability and longevity of our grabs.

Why does it matter?
